Preston's College employ a team of lecturers and staff, all specialists in their subject areas. Below are our current tutors who work in our purpose built 'Real Work Environment' at the Eric Wright Learning Foundation.
Head of School for Construction & Built Environment, Mark leads the School of the Built Environment and oversees the delivery of the Eric Wright Learning Foundation at Preston's College.
Mark has previously worked in the construction industry across the North West in both trade and supervisory capacities.
Mark is passionate in supporting the creation of apprenticeships, together with preparing and helping people progress into employment within the construction industry.

Head of 14 to 19 Curriculum at Preston's College, Debbie works
closely with the Eric Wright Learning Foundation for construction, supporting learners from local high schools to access provision at Preston’s College.
She is the main college contact for a high school and her role is to ensure learners have a quality experience and their progress ensures they have opportunity to progress onto a college course of choice or apprenticeship post 16.
Debbie Ireland
Bricklaying and General Construction - Zac is a previous learner at the Eric Wright Learning Foundation. He progressed from the EWLF onto an Apprenticeship in bricklaying and now has extensive industry experience working on new build projects across central Lancashire. Career progression has taken him to the level of project manager.
Zac has recently returned to the EWLF after completing his teacher training. He is helping to deliver training and providing mentorship to future learners of the foundation.
Zac Wilkinson
Plumbing and Gas - Andrew teaches on the colleges Level 1 & 2 Access to Building courses as well as the Level 2 Plumbing and Level 3 Gas Services Qualifications.
Andrew has an abundance of industry experience having been managing director of his own plumbing and heating company, working on large contracts to the value of £2.5m.

Painting and Decorating - Bob has an extensive range of experience in the painting and decorating industry.
He is committed to ensuring young people are able to enter the construction industry and provides expertise and knowledge in the skills development of painting and decorating to help them do so.

Graham Hawtrey
Carpentry and Joinery - Graham is a time served carpenter and joiner. He has worked on various large construction projects across the North West as a site manager.
Graham is committed to ensuring learners at the Eric Wright Learning Foundation can progress from full time education onto an apprenticeship or into employment.
Carpentry and Joinery - Richard is a time served carpenter and joiner who has previously run his own construction company.
Richard has recently moved into the Further Education sector to pass on his skills, knowledge and industry experience to the future workforce of the construction industry through the Eric Wright Learning Foundation.

Philip Parle
Plastering and Dry Lining - Philip has developed his plastering skills over a 24 year career, in which time he has been self-employed as well as working for a large plastering contractor.
Philip has a passion for delivering new methods and technology in plastering and dry lining.
Steve Sergeant
Electrical Installation - Steve has domestic, commercial and industrial experience of electrical installation and has worked in education across the roles of technician, instructor and lecturer throughout his career.
Civil Engineer (Professional Construction) - Mohammad has a wealth of industry experience with his career in construction and engineering spanning over 40 years.
Mohammed's career has led him to work overseas and in the UK on defence and numerous other projects including sea defence and roads.

Professional Construction - Gavin is an experienced carpenter and joiner who progressed within the industry to become a building surveyor.
Gavin has worked for various local authorities and major construction contractors throughout the North West and is passionate about developing the future professionals of the construction industry.
